Frequently Asked Questions
About Commercial Cleaning
We provide cleaning services nationwide across the UK. Whether your site is in Lincolnshire, Scotland, Wales or the South West, our team travels to deliver specialist warehouse and industrial cleaning.
Yes. We understand warehouses and food sites operate around the clock. We can schedule work during nights, weekends or planned shutdowns to minimise disruption.
Yes. All of our standard cleaning chemicals are approved for use in food environments. They have been trialled and tested over 15 years to ensure they are both effective and compliant. Stronger chemicals are available on request where appropriate.
We hold Safe Contractor approval and carry IPAF licences, CSCS cards, CCNSG Safety Passports, Waste Carrier licences and First Aid certifications. All documentation can be provided before work begins.
Yes. Before every job we complete a full risk assessment and provide method statements, safe systems of work and copies of licences. We also create a clear plan of works so all departments understand the sequence of the project.
Every project comes with a detailed report including before, during and after photographs. For evaporator cleaning, we also provide airflow readings and efficiency graphs.
Evaporator Cleaning
Dirty evaporators restrict airflow, increase energy consumption and spread dust throughout the warehouse. Regular cleaning keeps temperatures stable, reduces running costs and supports food safety compliance.
We recommend a six-month schedule for most chilled and frozen sites. High-usage or dusty environments may require more frequent cleaning.
It is common to see airflow improvements exceeding 40 percent after our cleaning process. We measure and document this for you.
Yes. We thoroughly clean coils, fans, guards, drip trays and condensate drains. Blocked drains can lead to bacterial slime and water overflow, which we eliminate.
Yes. We are experienced in frozen environments and carry out cleaning and de-icing safely in temperatures as low as -25°C.
Ice can form due to failed defrost cycles, warm air entering through damaged doors or general condensation build-up. Left untreated, this can reduce efficiency and create safety risks.
Warehouse Cleaning
We clean walls, ceilings, doors, racking, fixtures, fittings and floors. High-level and low-level cleaning can be included depending on your site needs.
Dust and debris from ceilings and beams eventually fall onto stock or back into evaporators. Regular high-level cleaning helps protect products and maintain hygiene standards.
Yes. In cold stores we brush down dust and use controlled hot water and chemical solutions where required, ensuring safety and preventing excess moisture build-up.
Freezer Floor Cleaning
We use a Mosmatic floor cleaner connected to a pressure washer, alongside a pump-out hoover and IBC tank. Any excess water is treated with salt and fully removed before we leave.
Yes. Removing ground-in dirt, grease and ice significantly reduces slip hazards and improves general housekeeping standards.
Roof Void Cleaning
Dust build-up in roof voids can create fire and explosion risks. Regular cleaning reduces airborne dust and removes debris that could ignite.
Yes, this can be included upon request as part of the service.
External Cladding and Gutter Cleaning
Cleaning removes grime, algae and staining, improving your building’s appearance and protecting the surface from long-term damage.
Yes. Our operatives are IPAF trained and use appropriate access equipment, following strict safety procedures.
Gutters should be inspected regularly and cleaned at least annually, or more frequently if your site is surrounded by trees or heavy debris.
Overflowing water can damage cladding, brickwork and roof edges. It can also create damp issues and unsafe walkways.
Pressure Washing and External Areas
We clean diesel pump areas, compactor zones, lorry washes, smoking areas, walkways, reception entrances and full yard spaces.
Yes. Clean external areas improve housekeeping standards and support audit compliance.
Duct and Kitchen Cleaning
Yes. Regular cleaning supports compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Occupiers Liability Act 1984. It also reduces fire risk.
Typically every six months, depending on usage levels. Heavy-use kitchens may require more frequent cleaning.
We clean ovens, hobs, hoods, ductwork, fridges, cupboards, worktops and floors. All surfaces are disinfected inside and out.
Condenser Cleaning
Clean condensers improve heat transfer, reduce energy use and help prevent system breakdowns.
Yes. Cleaner systems run cooler and more efficiently, reducing wear and lowering the likelihood of costly repairs.
Oil Spill Response
Yes. We respond to spills on-site or at customer premises and work quickly to reduce slip hazards and environmental impact.
Oil soaks into concrete and becomes extremely slippery. The longer it sits, the harder it is to remove completely.
Office and Confined Space Cleaning
Yes. We provide daily, weekly or tailored office cleaning to suit your business needs.
Yes. Our staff are trained and certified in confined space entry procedures and follow strict safety protocols.
Quotation and Pricing
Yes. All quotations are detailed and provided free of charge.
Pricing depends on the size of the area, temperature environment, access requirements and scope of work. After assessing your site, we provide a clear, transparent quote.
